…that difficult 2nd Edinburgh
THIS AUGUST Dead Cat Comedy returns to Edinburgh Fringe for its 2nd consecutive year. A whole month of relentless top-quality stand-up comedy. WE LOVE THE FRINGE! …and we can’t wait to get back there and show ’em what we’re made of.

LAST YEAR we had a real blast! Performing 2 shows-a-day to packed-out rooms. An afternoon showcase at Opium, followed by a Late-Night Show at The Globe. Both Showcases aim to show-off our favourite comedians. Acts we know, love and support all year round. Previous acts have included: Richard Massara, Eddie French, Liam Pickford, James Christopher, Jay Handley, James Meehan, Slap & Giggle, David Alnwick, Danny Deegan, Sam Avery, Nancy Clench, Jayne Edwards etc…
Last Year’s Shows were, at times, up and down. Opium is a big space to fill and The Globe can be a little too loud on certain evenings. We powered through the rain and heckles to deliver the finest stand-up showcases on PBH’s FREE FRINGE. In the meantime, we managed to sell a handful of our LIMITED EDITION Dead Cat T-Shirts…
THIS YEAR In association with PBH’s FREE FRINGE, Dead Cat will perform a daily afternoon stand-up showcase. We are excited to announce that we will be returning to Opium. An rock nightclub with an excellent stage and a proper alternative feel. Located on Cowgate opposite Underbelly. Last year, we could get over 100 people in on weekend shows. This year, we expect no less. Pop down to Opium for the finest selection of Indie Comedy the Fringe has ever seen!
