Sunday Night Superstars!
Meow, Dead Cat Comedy proudly present an outrageous evening of astonishing stand-up comedy. We return to Walrus for Manchester’s freshest new Comedy Night. INDIE COMEDY ALLSTARS is fast becoming one of the city’s strongest gigs. Boasting an unbelievable line-up, with over 6 Comedy Awards between the acts…that’s right 6!!!

Firstly, RED REDMOND will host the show. Red is Dead Cat Comedy’s resident compere as well as being a finalist in this year’s Chortle Student Comedian of the Year. His energetic and interactive style has been enchanting audiences for over 5 years. We promise he will not disappoint.
Secondly, comedy livewire EDY HURST will kick off the show. Tickled Pig Comedian of the Year. Edy is as mad as he is funny. Recently making it to the Semi-Finals of Chortle’s Student Comedian of the Year. Edy bursts onto stage with bags of energy and a whole hamper of enthusiasm. he also hosts his own Podcast, check it out here! One of our favourite acts to work with and NOT TO BE MISSED!
Thirdly, the phenomenal RACHEL FAIRBURN. This pint-sized fun factory is sharp, sassy and full of gags. Finalist of Funny Women Awards 2008. A cutting sense of humour sugared with a gentle delivery. Rachel is unassuming but never unamusing. One to watch.
And finally… SAM GORE. Winning 3 New Act competitions within a year is unheard of. Sam won 5! This unbelievably talented young man has wrote more jokes than you have tedious facebook updates. Star of FHM’s Stand-Up Hero. He has written for the likes of RUSSEL HOWARD and CHRIS ADDISON. Well worth a watch. WHAT MORE DO YOU PEOPLE WANT!?
