Dead Cat’s flagship show! Come down and revel in yet another astonishing evening of full professional comedy…for free! This month features three Dead Cat first-timers, and oh my! They’re each just a lovely as the next. DES SHARPLES will be opening the show, Des is a real Manchester legend, not just onstage but onscreen too as he featured in Ken Loach’s seminal film ‘Looking For Eric‘. EDDIE FRENCH is also gracing the stage, a large and loveable presence, Eddie wowed our audiences up at this year’s Fringe Festival and we were so goddam bloody impressed we’ve asked him to venture to Manchester and entertain the true Dead Cat Die Hards. Finally, JONATHAN MAYOR will be your Headliner. Jonathan is nothing short of enigmatic, a real showman, pop down and see this former drag-queen in all his glory…before we change our minds and keep him to ourselves.

Once more with feeling. Dead Cat returns to Manchester’s Northern Quarter with another selection of comedy delights. ADAM STAUNTON opens the show, this pint-sized punchline machine has a knack for astute and cutting comedy. A true up and comer that we’re happy to have on board. HELEN KEELER will also be flaunting her funnies, rarely is an act so sassy and sensational with such ease. HARRIET DYER will be your Headliner for the evening. Harriet is a true rising star, one of the most formidable female acts on the circuit. And of course RED REDMOND will be returning to his duties as compére.

Just Standing – 29th October – Star & Garter

And finally, another fundraiser to finish the month off. Dead Cat Comedy has joined forces with Friends of London Road Fire Station to deliver an evening of cutting, cathartic comedy. Some of you may already be aware of the tragic demise of London Road’s forgotten Fire Station. Basically, Manchester City Council in association with Brittania Hotels have ignored this architectural beauty for too long. So we’ve organised an evening with some of the most outspoken acts on the circuit. The show will also include a short section where audience are invited onstage to rant about any injustice they believe is going unpunished. We refuse to stand by, instead, we’ll stand-up!

Well, that’s bloody jam-packed month of comedy. We sincerely hope you can make at least one of our shows this Sunny October. If not, please spread the word. Dead Cat Comedy is trying its hardest to deliver the best comedy it possibly can and we really appreciate your support.

Go forth and have a bloody lovely life.
