Normal service will resume shortly…

HUZZAH! Edinburgh Fringe 2014 is at a close. We’ve had a belting month, playing to packed-out rooms at the world’s largest arts festival.

THIS YEAR acts that have graced our stage include: JACK CAMPBELL (English Comedian of the Year 2014), PHIL ELLIS (Winner of the Foster’s Panel Prize 2014) STEVE BUGEJA (BBC New Comedian of the Year 2014), PETER BRUSH (BBC New Comedian of the Year – Runner up), JONNY PELHAM (Chortle’s Student Comedian of the Year – Finalist), CARL HUTCHINSON (Magners’ Pub Comedian of the Year) and much much much more!!!

BIG THANKS to everyone who’s helped keep our Manchester gigs going whilst we’re up in sunny Edinburgh. Special thanks go to our guest comperes: LEWIS CHARLESWORTH, JACK EVANS and KATE McCABE. They worked tirelessly to make sure the gigs went ahead. We love you, you utterly professional bastards! Also, thanks to our hardcore audience who kept turning up despite the appalling lack of promotion (our internet connection is awful, we’re really really sorry!)

CONGRATULATIONS! Our favourite compere RED REDMOND made it into this year’s Chortle’s Student Comedian of the Year Final. Although he was not victorious, he had a belting gig and received the following review from the UK’s most revered comedy critic…

“Hilariously unrepentant…His style is forceful yet playful, and he works very well with an audience, who he manipulates masterfully. A rock-solid act.” – Steve Bennet, Chortle

THIS SEPTEMBER normal service will resume. So pop down to Sandbar on 1st September for a “unique night of alternative comedy” – The Skinny. RED REDMOND returns to MC the show.

NEXT YEAR we will return to Edinburgh Festival. We’re unsure of the details so far. However, I think you can expect yet another sensational stand-up showcase from UK’s ultimate indie comedy club.
