2014 hath arrived. We hope you’ve all had a lovely Christmas, New Year and numerous hangovers. Dead Cat is now 1 year old and we’re prepared to make 2014 super-fantastic-awesome-ballz!

Firstly, we start the New Year with some New Comedy, Dead Cat Comedy Créche. Manchester’s newest and nicest Open Mic Comedy Night. Featuring a mixture of established acts trying out new material and new acts taking their first steps. Hosted by RED REDMOND. We’ve even invited down seasoned professionals such as CHRIS WASHINGTON and JAMES MEEHAN (1/3 of Geins’ Family Gift Shop) to perform alongside a selection of UK’s finest new acts. Exciting!

Our first Pro-Show of 2014. Dead Cat’s flagship show is back with vengeance. Hosted by RED REDMOND. Back by popular demand, we have invited audience-favourites RICH J. WALL and WILL DUGGAN. We’ve also got a real treat for you in the form of TOBY HADOKE. Doctor Who-enthusiast, Psoriasis sufferer and Godfather of Independent Comedy in Manchester, Toby is a legend of the circuit and it is truly an honour to have him grace our stage. Not to be missed!

Northern Quarter’s naughtiest Comedy Night returns with some of the circuit’s most off-kilter comedy Gods. Hosted by RED REDMOND. We have mustachioed anarchist WILL SETCHELL opening the show. Also, Leeds-based whimsy wizard EDDY HURST will be popping down to make everyone feel nice. And finally, to close the show we have the earth-shattering comedy of EDDIE HOO. Eddie is the comedian equivalent of a cult classic. Too raucous and outspoken to play the mainstream clubs, we’ve bagged Eddie to come down and perform his incensed and uncensored Comedy Gold. WHAT MORE DO YOU PEOPLE WANT!?
