PBH’s Free Fringe is a fantastic organisation that, every year, provides free performance spaces at Edinburgh Fringe Festival. PBH do not just secure the venue, they source sound equipment, print their own programme and offer complete creative freedom to all acts who support them. Their terms and ethos can be found here. We have worked alongside PBH for a number of years now and we think it’s time to return the favour.
So, we have organised a Comedy Fundraiser of gargantuan proportions. ONE stage. ONE mic. EIGHT outstanding acts…
RED REDMOND
Hosting the show, Dead Cat’s resident MC and hell-raiser. “The most energetic man in comedy (provided Lee Evans is now dead)” – Manchester Wire
JAMES CHRISTOPHER
James’ sharp and friendly wit has captivated audiences for years. Hot off the success of his two previous Edinburgh Festival shows, Christopher is one talented fellow.
SID WICK
Former half of Manchester’s premier double-act Slap & Giggle. Sid has broken away with his unique brand of one-man-foolery.
ALASTAIR CLARK
Subtly satrical. Alastair takes a politically motivated show up to this year’s Fringe festival. Come check-out a real up and coming comedy talent.
DAVID ALNWICK
Magic and mystery from UK’s most charming ginger gentleman (sorry Red!). We’ve worked with David for a number of years. We’ve seen him wow packed-out rooms with his fast wit and even faster slight of hand.
DAVE WILLIAMS
The North’s best kept secret. Williams has been wowing Comedy Clubs across the land for many years. However, this Fringe sees him perform a powerful Spoken Word show. Intrigued? I know we are!
CAIMH McDONNEL
Ireland’s ultimate comedy export. Caimh is a true comedy legend. Serving up some charismatic comedy gold.
So, come down and witness a wonderful night of comedy, magic and everything in between. Like our other shows this will be FREE ENTRY. A donation bucket will be passed around at the edn of the show. All proceeds go directly towards helping fund PBH’s Free Fringe 2014.
