Dead Cat Comedy College, Manchester’s premier comedic crash course. New to Comedy? Not sure where to start? Never fear! Try our frantic 5 week course covering everything from 18th Century Clowning to 21st Century Stand-up.

Dead Cat have designed these workshops to bring new comedians all the tools they need to succeed. All workshops run by RED REDMOND. Professional Stand-up, founder of Dead Cat Comedy and Manchester Student Comedian of the Year 2011 & 2013.  Red has been performing Stand-up for over 5 years. He has taught Improvised Comedy with international Comedy troupe Comedysportz. Red is also trained in the art of Clowning which he learnt under Philippe Gaulier (a mad French man who taught Sacha Baron Cohen, Helen Bonham Carter, Emma Thompson etc…)
Now Red wants to share his multi-faceted knowledge of Comedy with you…

Sessions will also be assisted by professional artist, Improviser and Circus Performer SYE WATTS. Sye has taught Clowning at Play Festival 2013 and is a fully fledged member of Comedysportz UK. Sye knows simplicity is the secret to great comedy. Pop down and let us nuture your natural comedic talents.

Our first workshop will commence 1pm-3pm on Sunday 2nd February. The course is made up of a series of 2hour sessions running over 5 consecutive Sundays. Workshops will take place in Sandbar (Just off Oxford Road, 120 Grosvenor Street, M1 7HL). Hurry! We have a very limited number of spaces.
